Getting comfortable with getting uncomfortable

This workshop will equip participants with the understanding and terminology they need to feel confident in having the uncomfortable conversations that are necessary to evolve organizational social awareness. They will learn why these conversations are important and how to have them in healthy and productive ways.

When we can be ourselves and openly connect with one another, our relationships become a commodity of their own. As a group with a shared purpose, we become more than the sum of our parts.

Not Diversity Training!

Diversity training improves relations as a corporate goal to benefit the bottom line of a company. Frankly, I don't care about the organization's bottom line, that's not why I'm here.

There are plenty of resources proving that diversity and inclusion improves productivity, innovation, and the overall success of an organization. We already know that discrimination can have legal ramifications, and that everyone deserves to be treated equally.

This workshop runs much deeper than that. Participants will exercise openness, emotional maturity, honesty with themselves and with others, and most of all, vulnerability.

We are more than the work we do!

The purpose of this workshop is to prepare your organization for major social change. By understanding and addressing the ways we are all influenced by our unconscious expectations, we can increase social awareness within an organization, creating a happier and healthier workplace.

Employees deserve to feel empowered and safe to bring their whole selves to work. We often attempt to bring a skeleton of ourselves to work, pretending our "work life" is separate from our "personal life". But we invest too much of our time in the workplace for this to ever be true.

We are more than the work we do! We have thoughts, feelings, ideas, and aspirations. We are each a unique collection of experiences, passions, and opportunities. We cannot, should not, and must absolutely refuse to be anything less than our whole selves.
